Manipal Academy of Higher Education (earlier known as Manipal University) has started applications for its UG programs.  The change in the name of the entrance exam can be seen as an outcome of the UGC's directive which came in the month of November, in which 123 universities were asked to refrain from using “University” in their names. These universities were instructed to use "Deemed to be University" instead.  In line with these directives Manipal University has changed its name to Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

MAHE offers 3 Year BA in Media & Communication that leads to careers in Radio, television, film, print media industry, Internet and new media, Corporate communication, Advertising and marketing industry, Event management, public relations and media research. Check details at MET-BAMC.

In Commerce /Business related fields, it offers 3-Year BBA in E-Banking and Finance, Financial Markets, Professional, Logistics & Supply Chain, Human Resource, Marketing, Insurance & Risk Management, Family Business Management. Check details @ MET-BBA.
